4 weeks
It is hard to believe that Joshua is already 4 weeks old. I can't believe how time flys. I have already packed up all of his newborn clothes and we have moved up. For the most part he is a pretty good baby. Our only down fall is that he loves to be held by mommy the time, and I mean all the time. When I put him down he screams to the point where he can't breath. He doesn't even like Juan holding him. I think I have another mommy's boy on my hands. I have finally got him to sleep in his crib for a few hours at a night, which is nice for me. I have a hard time sleeping with him in bed with. I feel like I am going to roll over on him. I know this will not last forever so I try and enjoy it well it last. Here are some pictures enjoy!
Pet Expo
We made it to the pet expo this year. Last year we went down there and the traffice was so bad. It was also HOT so we turned around and came home. We did make take Jonathan when we has like 6 weeks old but of course it was more for mommy. This year he loved it!!! I can't wait to get a dog for him, we even got some information about a bulldog. Not that we are getting one now, but once we move we plan on it. It was a great day! My friends and her two daughters went also, so Jonathan had some friends to play with. It was so cute they kept telling me I will take care of your son, which they did. They pulled him all over the place showing everything.

7 Years!
Yesterday Juan and I were married for seven years. So because we have a new baby we decided to take the kids with us to dinner. We went down to HB and ate dinner on the pier. Juan asked me to marry him nine years ago on the pier so that is why we went there. As we all know a two year old will only sit down for so long, and his new thing is to ask the same thing over and over and over tell you just can't take it any more. Needless to say by the end of dinner I just wanted to go home. Which just wasn't going to happen because we told Jonathan we were going to go to the beach, which meant that we must dig. It was cold and windy so we just got in the car and headed home. Bad idea!! Jonathan stared screaming and wouldn't stop. I made Juan turn around and go back so we could dig. We should of never said anything about digging in the first place, that was our fault. After digging for a little bit we heading home, where for the next 20 mins Jonathan asked to watch the Train movie. I couldn't wait for bedtime, it couldn't get here fast enough. Next year we will be going by our selfs, it is just not the same with kids.
Easter Day 2009!
We had a great Easter!! We started off by going to grandma and grandpa Torres's house for breakfast and a Easter egg hunt. Along with some racing with daddy and grandpa. After that we headed home for a nap and then later that night to Papa and GG house's for dinner. Jonathan didn't care to much for the bunny tracks tell they were gone and then he was mad. Maybe next year he will be more into them. By the way the were done with baby powered. Which next year I know that you need a big bottle and not a small.

The Easter Bunny has came to town.
Jonathan is already in bed, so the Easter Bunny has already came to our house. We made sure that we put out carrots for the bunny so he or should I say she had some food for his long night. Every time we told Jonathan the bunny was coming tonight he was so happy and would say "bunny bring candy?" That was all he cares about. I can't wait to see what he things tomorrow when he gets up and see the basket and the bunny prints.

Pictures with the Easter Bunny
We went and saw the Easter Bunny yesterday. Which turned out to go pretty good. I wasn't sure at first how it was going to go. Every time I asked Jonathan if he wanted to sit and take a picture with the bunny he would say "NO", so I didn't think it was going to happen or at least there was going to be tears and a lot of screaming. I finally told him that you got candy from the Easter bunny knowing that I had some M and M's for back up. Once he know candy was in involved he was all for it. He was a great Easter bunny he started off by greeting all the kids at the beginning of the line, and would take a few mins and give them high fives and just let the kids warm up before the picture. The was great! After the pictures with the bunny we headed off for dinner and some walking around the mall. Grandma and Grandpa Torres went with us, just was nice. Well we were eating grandma T took Jonathan for a walk because of course he was done with in a matter of mins, the headed over to the Disney store. Never a good place with any kid. After we ate we headed over there to see why they were back yet. As soon as I walked in I see Jonathan with a huge box of cars stuff in his hand yelling no mine as grandma is following him around in a circle, more like chasing him. She had a look of what do I do on her face. The great part was Jonathan already had that toy at home, but he didn't want to part with it. Needless to say we had to talk him out of those and into something else. Got to love toddlers when they know what they want!

Day at Crystal Cove
The starfish that they found. They are very pretty colors!
So today we had a family day out. I know I should be taking it easy and today I think I over done it, but we did have a fun day. It was a lot of fun to see Juan and Jonathan playing in the sand and water. I didn't think that they would be getting wet so I didn't bring a change of clothes, which I was wrong. Needless to say Jonathan rode home in just a diaper. Jonathan got to see a starfish and a little fish that was in a pool of water, which he thought was cool. He is really into building what he thinks is a house out of anything he can. So they would make a hill (house) and then the water would wash it away. Jonathan was not so happy when it was gone, but they would just build another one. He kept telling me "Mommy I build house" then when it was gone, he would say "where it go"? I was laughing. Needless to say Joshua slept through the trip, only woke up to eat.
