Broccoli and top Roman noddle salad

Cut the broccoli in small pieces. Add as many green onions as you like, I use about 6 or 7.

I forgot the sugar, sorry!

Brake up noddles small

Salad

about 3 heads of broccoli

6-7 green onions

hand full of sliced almonds (more or less just depending on what you like)

hand full of sunflower seeds (more or less just depending on what you like)

whole pack of top roman noddles uncooked

Dressing

1/2cup oil

1/2 red vinegar

3 teaspoons sugar

1 seasoning package from the top roman

Shake well. Don't add all the dress only to taste, it is kinda sweet so do it slow.

THE COOKIES!

These are the best cookies, they are so good!

3/4 granulated sugat

3/4 packed brown sugar

1 cup butter

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 lg. egg

2 1/4 cup all purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

1 bag (12oz) semisweet choc. chips

-Heat oven to 375

-Beat both sugars, butter, vanilla, and egg in a large bowl with electric mixer or mix with spoon. stir in flour, salt, and baking soda (dough with be stiff) Stir in choc. chips

-Drop dough by rounded teaspoons about 2 inches apart on a ungreased cookie sheet.

-Bake 8-10 min or until golden brown. (center will be soft) Cool 1-2 min and then put on a wire rack.

The trick is to pull them from the oven a little earlier then you would think. Because the heat carries over even after you remove them.

They taste the best the same day you cook them so eat them all at once. :)

Storm Watch 2010!

Reports say that two small twisters hit the a Southern California home in the later hours of Sept. 21, 2010. No confirmed injuries, but one mom saying this is going to take some time to recover from. It is reported that the two twisters only touched down for about 5 min and you can see from the photos left a path of destruction.

I nice cool day to lay around in just your underwear, watching endless amounts of TV on 62 inch no less, having someone wait on you had and food, and still through a fit when you where told NO. It must be hard being 3.5 but someone has to do it.

I know he sleeps with his eyes open and it is kinda creepy, but he is really cute all snuggled up with pooh bear. :)

Sept Birthday fun!

Hearts!

Driving down Harbor in Fullerton there are about 10 of these hearts on the side of the rode. All different but all very pretty. I got lucky and was at a red light right next to this one.

He will climb on anything to get what he wants.

Legos?????

My kids LOVE legos! Jonathan is on this kick of having every lego set he can own which is not cheap. When we went to the Toy Story 3 movie we got to go the fun zone and see lots of legos from the movie. It was very cute, but we have now been having many melt downs over these little things. :) I thought OK, I will buy him the Buzz one, and yes I did see that the box said 7-14 years old. I thought no biggy Juan will put it together and then he can play with it. That is what happened till he dropped it once and the whole thing broke into pieces. Needless to say I picked them all up and put them in the box. They will be making their way back to Target. I feel bad, but it is just not going to happen.

Disney with friends!

Jonathan's first BIG BOY ride! He loved it so much that he watned to ride it again, before we were even off of it. I was SO proud of him!

What can you say Disney is always full of fun and when you have your buddies it makes it 10 times better!

I really can't believe that you are 3.5! Every time I look at you it amazing me how you have grown. Your so much taller and you have changed in every way. I can still remember the day I brought you home and thinking OK what do I do now? Now I look at you and think what amazing little boy you have turned into. I am SO lucky to be able to spend my days with you, to watch every second of you growing. I get to see the the joy in your eyes over just the smallest things. It is just wonderful to see the world through your eyes!

Let me just say you are the best big brother! You LOVE your brother SO much! You always make sure that you take care of him and if he ever needs anything you are there. If you can't find him you look calling his name. If were out somewhere you always make sure that he is close by. You give him hugs and kisses and tell him you love him everyday many times. You may not always get along but I know that you love him so much. I couldn't be happier to see how much joy he brings you, and to see that you bring him just as much joy. You read story's to him and love playing cars with him. Watching you guys together brings tears to my eyes because I wish I could keep you both that way forever.
